Our story

Our story dates back to 1975, when we began our foreign trade operations at the Port of Turbo in partnership with C.I. Uniban S.A., one of the country's leading banana export companies. Since then, we have jointly developed maritime agency and customs brokerage services, supporting the growth of the banana industry in the Urabá region.

Copilot said: In 1991, following regulatory changes introduced by the Colombian Government that required the separation of these activities, Agencia de Aduanas Banaduana S.A.S. was formally established, strengthening our specialization in customs brokerage services.

The sustained growth of export operations, particularly in the banana sector, played a key role in strengthening our expertise and positioning us as a strategic partner for leading companies such as C.I. Uniban S.A. and C.I. Banacol S.A. (now C.I. Agrogreenland S.A.), among others.

This experience enabled us to develop a strong track record in the export of perishable goods, including fruits, citrus products, vegetables, and exotic produce. At the same time, we have strengthened our expertise in the import of machinery, industrial supplies, and products for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, broadening our presence across multiple industries.

Over the years, we have evolved and expanded our presence across Colombia, launching operations in Santa Marta in 2008, followed by Cartagena and Buenaventura in 2019, and most recently Barranquilla in 2024, establishing a strong presence across the country’s principal ports.

Additionally, we are supported by strategic partnerships with Level 1 and Level 2 customs brokers, enabling us to provide efficient and reliable services throughout Colombia.
